The book argues that selective enforcement, not consistent rule-following, is how modern institutions actually operate: the same law, the same process, the same rule, applied differently depending on who it lands on. This project takes ordinary daily news stories and maps each one against that argument, showing which Part, Chapter, and sometimes subheading of the book the story illustrates.
